Rogue Blight Weapons Guide: Every Confirmed Weapon, Skills and Scaling
All weapons documented in Rogue Blight so far — swords, daggers, wands, bows and their skills — plus how weapon scaling, rarity and upgrading work.
The weapon pool is where Rogue Blight’s “customize your playstyle based on what you find” promise lives. Each weapon changes not just numbers but your skill button, your status effects, and often your whole build. Below is every weapon documented in the launch build from gameplay footage and the game’s own UI, with an honesty column — this site distinguishes what we’ve verified from what a single streamer reported.
How weapons work
- Damage is a range (e.g. 13–15 on the equipment screen). Upgrading at the blacksmith raises both ends.
- Every weapon has a skill bound to your skill key, usually with a mana cost: summons, meteors, lunges, self-buffs and more.
- Scaling colors: weapons display which stat empowers them — red for Strength, green for Dexterity. Wand-type weapons key off Intelligence.
- Poise damage: each weapon also shows a poise damage value; enough hits stagger enemies outright.
- Rarity: higher-tier gear rolls better stat lines, and legendary items (shown in yellow) carry a unique perk — one documented pair of legendary gloves grants a second aerial attack and +10% airtime.

Which weapons are worth committing to?
- Fast weapons (daggers, rapiers, katanas) stack status buildup fastest — that’s the entire engine behind bleed builds.
- Heavy weapons (greatswords) win on poise damage: you stagger enemies before they finish wind-ups, which is its own defense layer.
- Wands trade your off-hand for range and scale with INT; the mana economy is the real cost (see the wand mage build).
- Elemental swords (Flame, Frost, Water) are build-defining: burn, freeze, and lifesteal each support a different strategy — the Double Flame Sword build is built entirely around holding two at once.
Upgrading weapons
The blacksmith upgrades any weapon using materials salvaged from items you feed him — the game states this in his own dialogue: “I’ll upgrade your equipment, just provide materials from any unwanted items.” Weapon upgrades raise the damage range and can improve status chances; at higher blacksmith levels he also rerolls gear stats entirely. Full details, including reroll costs and when to upgrade versus sell, are in the Equipment guide.
