Rogue Blight Guide is an unofficial fan site for Rogue Blight, the souls-like roguelite by CodeRadGames. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by CodeRadGames; all trademarks belong to their owners. The site is a single-editor project — there is no team, no company, and no advertising behind it today.

How we verify

Every guide carries a "Verified for v1.0 (launch) · 2026-09-05" chip. That chip means every mechanical claim on the page was checked against current sources on that date. Our source hierarchy, best-first:

  1. The game's own UI and tutorial text — stat effects, node legends, blessing descriptions and skill tooltips visible on screen are treated as fact and quoted where possible.
  2. Official store information — price, platforms, features and the developer's descriptions come from the game's Steam page.
  3. Multiple independent gameplay recordings — a mechanic shown or described by two or more unrelated players is labelled as player-confirmed.
  4. A single gameplay recording — labelled as a player report, with numbers treated as provisional.

Where sources disagree or evidence is thin, the page says so in plain text ("to be confirmed") instead of picking a number that looks authoritative. We do not invent values, drop rates, or locations to fill tables.

How AI is used

Research assistance, source comparison, drafting and site code are AI-assisted; every published claim is reviewed against the sources above before it ships, and anything that can't be verified is either hedged or cut. Numbers are never filled in from memory — if a value isn't visible in a source we can cite, the page says "to be confirmed".

Updates and corrections

The "last verified" date on each page is the honest one — pages are only re-dated when their content is actually re-checked or changed. When a patch changes mechanics, affected guides move to the top of the update queue (the update trigger is recorded for every page internally).

Spotted a mistake? Tell us — corrections are applied and the page's verified date is refreshed the same way any other edit is.
